Delete your account

You can delete your Anchors account and its data at any time, from the app or from the web.
In the app (iPhone or Android)
- Open Anchors and go to the Friends tab.
- Scroll to Settings and tap Delete account.
- Tap Delete my account to confirm.
On the web
- Sign in at joinanchors.app.
- Go to Friends → Settings → Delete account and confirm.
Can't sign in?
Email hello@joinanchors.app from the email on your account, with your username, and ask us to delete it. We'll confirm and delete it within 7 days.
What gets deleted
Deleting your account permanently removes, right away:
- your profile: name, username, email and city, and your Sign in with Apple link (we also ask Apple to revoke Anchors’ access)
- your friendships, friend requests and circles
- plans you hosted, and your replies, chat messages and photos
- your notification registrations and sign-ins on every device
We keep only what we must for safety: reports other people made about an account may be kept for up to 90 days so we can act on abuse. Nothing else is kept, and none of it is recoverable.
